It all started in NeNe’s back yard….

From their humble beginnings as The Original Crawdaddy’s NeNe and his crew have been serving the greater Baton Rouge area since 2003. With his son Adam and friend Tyler Downing, the three have grown the business from NeNe’s own backyard. Catering tailgates and other functions while attending LSU, it all started from their passion for food in an attempt to make a few extra bucks for college. 

Needless to say, season after season, Tyler, Adam, and Neal have perfected their craft and in 2016, decided to open up a brick & mortar location to bring their Cajun cuisine to the public. Years of crawfish boiling experience paved the way for the team to serve their famous grab-n-go seafood, and from then on, NeNe’s was born. 

Named after his grandkids’ self-titled moniker, it’s no surprise that NeNe and his full-scale, family-friendly eatery are loved by locals in the greater Baton Rouge area. Built with love from the ground up, NeNe’s is a must-visit for those seeking a fun atmosphere, traditional Cajun catering, and quality service year-round.
